Team Of The Week – Week 3 – Season 7 – League One
Starting XI
GK: I Blaze I – Kicking off our third D1 TOTW in net is Benfica’s I Blaze I. Blaze was a force in net for the Portuguese side, collecting 4 CS and only allowing 3 goals in his part 6 games.
RB: EAGLE WARRIOR19 – Leading off our defensive line is the first of Toronto FC’s dynamic fullback duo in EAGLE WARRIOR19. Eagle Warrior did a little bit of everything for the Canadians, posting 1 A, 3 KP, 31 PW, 2 CS, and 2 MOTM over the past two weeks.
CB: xTBONE1213x – Coming in at center back after a couple of solid weeks in defense for Benfica is xTBONE1213x. T Bone was putting attackers into his boneyard with ease recently with 1 A, 4 KP, 31 PW, and a crazy 5 CS.
CB: LiLPurpp – Partnering with T Bone in the heart of defense is Valencia’s big boy in the defense LiLPurpp. Purpp was a class act in defense in his past 8 GP, tallying 1 A, 6 KP, 22 INT, 54 PW, and 2 MOTM awards.
LB: I LaPara I 5 I – PCN veteran I LaPara I 5 I returns for his 2nd straight TOTW after he continued his great work for Toronto FC with his fullback PIC EAGLE WARRIOR19. LaPara was a constant source of energy as evidenced by 2 A, 5 KP, 31 PW, 2 CS, and 1 MOTM.
CDM: Patty2Dux – Holding it down in the hole in front of the defense but behind the attackers is Valencia’s main man Patty2Dux. Patty has been a model of consistency lately with 1 G, 1 A, 15 DT, 30 PW, and 14 PP in 8 total games.
RM: x jway x (POTW) – The POTW for the third D1 TOTW of S7, Leipzig’s manager x jway x led by example as he played 3 different positions in the past few gamedays and excelled in all of them. Jway posted a collective stat line of 4 G, 5 A, 12 KP, 14 INT, 21 PW, 20 PP, and 2 MOTM in his games.
LM: Raven52rl – Joining LaPara with his second consecutive TOTW performance is Liverpool’s star creative mid in Raven52rl. Raven is a natural CAM but fills in at LM for us in the TOTW with 3 G, 4 A, 12 KP, 11 INT, and 1 MOTM over 7 GP.
CAM: Fatal Enjoyment – Joining his teammate and manager in the midfield is fellow Leipzig star and PCN newcomer but clearly very talented player in Fatal Enjoyment. Fatal was lethal in the attack over his last 8 GP with 4 G, 6 A, 6 KP, 13 DT, 19 PP, and 1 MOTM.
ST: Unlucky Dblock – Filling in one of the two starting spots at striker for this TOTW is a player who was certainly not unlucky for Barcelona in Unlucky Dblock. Dblock has started his PCN career well with 7 G, 3 A, 10 KP, and 2 MOTM in 7 GP.
ST: JLANE91 – Rounding out the starting XI for the third TOTW is the big man himself JLANE91. JLANE has brought his considerable experience to PCN and led all of D1 with 10 G while adding 4 KP and 1 MOTM in 6 games in the past four gamedays.
BENCH
GK: CineDiver – First on our bench for this TOTW is Liverpool’s master of diving saves – CineDiver. CineDiver made a league-high 48 saves and earned a MOTM for his quality performances in net for the Merseyside club.
CB: Ix J RO xI – Joining his teammate Unlucky Dblock in the TOTW is center half Ix J RO xI. J RO put up an impressive 1 A, 6 KP, 24 INT, and 48 PW in his past 8 games.
CB: Berekis I95I – Filling out the defensive side of the TOTW is the appropriately Berekis I95I CB. Berekis was a beast in defense with his partner TBONE, collecting 1 G, 20 PP, and 5 CS in the past couple of weeks.
LM: Criminal Bale – Lock him up! Criminal Bale deserves a trip in the paddy wagon after he abused D1 defenders in the past four game days with RB Leipzig. Bale had an impressive 3 G, 3 A, 8 KP, 9 INT, and 14 PP in 7 games.
CAM: Faithful Itachi (Celtic) – The lone Scot in the team, Faithful Itachi did Celtic proud with some great play lately. Itachi was a very versatile player as he added 3 G, 2 A, 10 KP, 21 PP, and 2 MOTM in 8 games.
ST: Sp1dermonk3y111 – Is he an arachnid? A primate? Who knows, but Sp1dermonk3y111 from Valencia was all over the place recently. Sp1der had a really well rounded couple of weeks with 4 G, 5 A, 5 KP, 19 PP, and 3 MOTM over 8 GP.
ST: U aiNt THe GoD – You may not be the God, but there is no evidence that Benfica’s U aiNt The GoD is not a deity himself. U aiNt had a godlike week in attack for the Portuguese side as he contributed 7 G, 3 A, 8 KP, and 2 MOTM in 8 games.
