Team Of The Week – Week 2 – Season 13 – Super League

Starting XI
GK: Envy CK (Manchester United) – Leading off this week we have Envy CK from Man United. The rookie shot stopper has surprised many in his first Super League campaign, helping Man United push up unexpectedly into the top six and stay there. In 7 games, Envy saved 26 shots and only conceded two goals, earning 5 clean sheets in the process.
CB: LAZO I 23 I (Manchester City) – The first member of our back three this week is none other than Man City’s brightest star in the back, Lazo 23. Lazo has emerged from the shadow of his brothers as a key player in a Man City side exceeding all expectations as they sit just outside of the top six. In 8 matches, Lazo picked up 38 interceptions, 26 headers won, 38 possessions won, and even a goal to earn him his selection.
CB: Liberoo x (Orlando Pirates) – Lining up in the middle of the back three, Libero has continued his dominant campaign for the South African side. The young stalwart has been key to their title fight as they look to secure their first Super League title since Season 8. In 9 games, Libero has gotten 12 tackles, 23 interceptions, 43 headers won, and 50 possessions won.
CB: iiiBadger (Manchester United) – The second, and certainly not last, Man United player to make it into the TOTW is iiiBadger. The former TOTS fullback has moved into the middle of the defense and has found new life in a resurgent Red Devils side. In 9 matches, Badger had a league-leading PER of 26.32, while also adding 13 tackles, 23 interceptions, 45 possessions won, and 4 Man of the Match awards.
CDM: Neymar24 (Atlanta United) – Although his namesake is a winger, this Neymar has made his name as a dominant defensive mid for an Atlanta United side with top six aspirations. The former Man United and Wolverhampton player has continued his rise as he is yet again having another great season even though it is only his second season in the Super League. In just 6 games, Neymar tallied 20 tackles, 33 interceptions, 53 possessions won, and 4 clean sheets.
CDM: DueY l 1 l (Chelsea) – Pairing up with Neymar in the middle of the park is Chelsea’s very own, Duey. The former Orlando Pirate has been one of the few bright spots for a Chelsea side that has performed well below expectations this season, with a potential move in the works back to his former employers in discussion. In 9 matches, Duey scored once and also added two assists, 27 interceptions, 42 possessions won, and 6 clean sheets.
RM: RGyroo (Lyon) – The lone Lyon lad in this TOTW is their dynamic midfielder, RGyroo. His two-way performances have led to Lyon’s title push over the last couple weeks, with them sitting in second at the time of writing. In 8 games, RGyroo picked up 3 assists, 3 key passes, 31 tackles, 31 interceptions, and 52 possessions won.
LM: LAZO l 7 l (Manchester City) – His brother made it in as the starting CB, and Lazo 7 has made it in as the starting LM. His playmaking from the left hand side has been absolutely pivotal for what was once a stagnant offense. In his last 6 matches, Lazo found the back of the net once, while also picking up 5 assists, 18 interceptions, and 6 key passes.
CAM: Shmurddaa Pollo (AC Milan) – Our starting CAM is none other than the current holder of the Balon D’orsey, Shmurddaa Pollo. The star winger has seamlessly transitioned from the wing to the middle of the park, not skipping a beat in the process when it comes to production. In 7 games, Shmurda has gotten 5 assists, 17 key passes, 13 interceptions, and one goal.
ST: Magic Man OP (Manchester United) – The first of our striker duo this week is Man United’s gaffer, Magic Man OP. He has been on an absolute tear for his side as he leads them to a potential top six finish. In his last 7 games, Magic scored 6 times with 13 shots on target. During this time, he also added 1 assist, 4 key passes, and 2 Man of the Match awards.
ST: Aztecaas (Inter Milan) – POTW – Our Player of the Week is none other than the former World Cup Golden Ball winner, Aztecaas. He has been the difference maker for a dominant Inter Milan side that is looking to retain their title, sitting in third at the time of writing. In 9 games, Aztecaas scored 10 times with 17 shots on target. He also managed to add 3 assists, 6 key passes, and 3 Man of the Match awards during this time.
BENCH
GK: ll LucaBrasi ll (Chelsea) – The backup goalie this week in our TOTW is Chelsea’s shot stopper, LucaBrasi. Having survived the exodus of many of his former teammates, he has impressed in his time with the Blues as their number one in net. In 9 games, Luca collected 28 saves, 6 clean sheets, and only 4 goals allowed.
CB: Matias7 (Juventus) – Regarded as one of the best center backs of all time in PCN, Matias has thrived through each passing season. He has become one of the most capped Juventus players and continues to show why he has stuck around for the Old Lady as long as he has, putting in stellar performances week in and week out. In 7 games, he has picked up 14 tackles, 15 interceptions, 36 possessions won, and 3 clean sheets.
RB: FreddyBoss7 (Bayer Leverkusen) – Our lone fullback this week is none other than Leverkusen’s FreddyBoss7. The former outside mid has moved back into defense and has shined for Leverkusen as they look to push up the league and contend for the top half of the table. In his last 7 matches, Freddy has picked up 8 tackles, 15 interceptions, 35 possessions won, and 5 clean sheets.
CDM: Fuji Sells (Valencia) – Earning himself a bench spot this week is Fuji Sells from Valencia. The utility man has earned his TOTW selection after a brilliant set of performances over the last few gamedays. His performances have been the key driving factor in Valencia’s recent success. In 9 games, Fuji has gotten one assist, 34 tackles, 36 interceptions, 60 possessions won, and 2 Man of the Match awards.
LM: Caveman5515 (Manchester United) – Caveman, like Matias for his side, has been a key player for Manchester United for as long as many can remember. Having transitioned from a center back to an outside mid over the last couple seasons, his most recent performances have been absolutely outstanding. In his last 9 games, Caveman picked up a league-leading 7 assists, while also adding 8 key passes, 12 tackles, and 18 interceptions.
ST: Versatile Goat (Real Madrid) – Our lone Real Madrid representative this week, Versatile Goat has shined for the Galacticos. Over the last 6 games, he led all attackers in PER with an impressive 24.68. During this time, he scored 4 times with just 5 shots on target. He also picked up 5 assists, 8 key passes, and a passing percentage of 80.58%.
ST: Eddy Disaster (Manchester United) – Our final entry into the TOTW is another Manchester United player in Eddy Disaster. The former AC Milan and Minnesota United forward has found a home in Old Trafford over the last couple seasons and has excelled in his position. In 9 games, Eddy scored 6 times and also added on 3 assists, 8 key passes, and 21 headers won.
