Team Of The Week – Week 2 – Season 11 – League One
Starting XI
GK: galatasaray1976 (RB Leipzig) – In net for the second TOTW is galatasaray from RB Leipzig. Coming up huge is a norm for this stalwart keeper as in 9 games, he racked up 57 saves and 2 clean sheets. He clearly had opposing offenses stumped and wondering what more could they have done.
CB: Ns Verk (Schalke 04) – Starting at CB this week we have Verk from Schalke. He has been an absolute monster and in just 6 games he has managed to obtain 13 tackles, 20 interceptions, 4 blocks, and 37 possessions won. Keeping up numbers like this will surely make for a very happy manager over at Schalke.
CB: P3TER SAVAGE (Real Madrid) – Everyone say welcome back to Peter as he finds himself in the TOTW again. Peter amassed 3 assists, 5 key passes, 5 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 22 possessions won in 7 games. Sure enough, Madrid will thank their Galactico and with performances like this, will expect to go for a league title.
CB: ZPK v2 (Orlando Pirates) – Another similarity from this TOTW to the last besides Peter is an Orlando CB. ZPK has shown he is a big dog with 5 tackles, 11 interceptions, 33 possessions won, and 5 clean sheets in 6 games. ZPK has been an absolute master class this week and this Orlando defense just keeps getting more exciting.
CDM: Kawaiioniiichan (Braga – POTW) – Besides the title of POTW, nothing about this man’s game is Kawaii. Featuring a bruising physical style Kawaii is all about taking the ball and knocking you down in the process. With 17 tackles, 34 interceptions, and 55 possessions won in..wait for it… 7 games, he has been nothing short of outstanding!
CDM: Luis l 15 l (RB Leipzig) – 24 tackles, 28 interceptions, and 54 possessions won later, maybe opposing offenses have learned their lesson in attacking Luis. Clearly, it has not gone well for them and if they continue to try to attack him, Luis will just continue to feast.
LM: Hinkleyy (Frankfurt) – At left mid we have a repeat member from last week’s TOTW in Frankfurt’s Hinkley. In that article, we saw how he was single-handedly keeping the winger position alive and now we see that Hinkleyy just thrives wherever he is placed on the pitch. He has racked up quite an impressive statline of 6 goals, 6 assists, 7 key passes, and 18 possessions won earning him this spot on the TOTW.
CAM: gfetts (AS Monaco) – At starting CAM we have gfetts. The young lad from Monaco has been heading a solid offensive effort from his squad by contributing 1 goal, 6 assists, 12 key passes, 9 interceptions and 29 possessions won. This has clearly made his strikers very happy fellows, as they are constantly being fed the ball through a fine player.
RM: Mexicanjeditony (Borussia Dortmund) – A not so long time ago in a galaxy not too far away the PCN world was wowed by the only Mexican Jedi in the universe. Tony put up 3 goals, 2 assists, 20 tackles, 19 interceptions, and 36 possessions won. This outstanding display of talent is clearly one of the contributions for Inform Leak.
LS: Shamrockslax24 (Braga)- The man, the myth, the legend, Shamrock has awed countless players with his performances from last season. Although suffering from availability issues, Sham has managed to accumulate 10 goals, 3 assists, 9 key passes, and 13 possessions won. One thing is for certain, no defense wants to come up against sham right now.
RS: My Seraph (Real Madrid) – In 6 games, Seraph has 7 goals, 4 assists, 11 key passes, and 11 possessions won. This surge in production has seen Real Madrid jump into form and they are now performing as anticipated. Seraph is a very dangerous player and he has definitely just put the league on notice.
BENCH
GK: ll LucaBrasi ll (Schalke 04) – The bench GK for this week is almost equal with the starter. Luca put on a show this week with 56 saves and 3 clean sheets. It seems as if the two goalkeepers were trying to constantly one-up each other.
RB: RCJR11 (LAFC) – Slotting into the bench at fullback we have RCJR11. In 7 games RCJ had 1 goal, 2 assists, 4 tackles, 10 interceptions, and 18 possessions won. RCJ is continuing the fight to keep fullbacks alive in PCN and with numbers like these he is not just surviving, he is thriving.
LB: M3DIC (Borussia Dortmund) – Making his way into TOTW two we have our dear old friend M3DIC. In 8 games Medic put up 9 tackles, 22 interceptions, and 31 possessions won. He can do it all and is having himself a very good season to boot.
CM: QF x Coutinho x (Frankfurt) – 3 assists, 6 key passes, 18 tackles, and 21 interceptions is an extraordinary feat for a center mid, but for QF it is another day at the office as he put these numbers up in only 6 games. Frankfurt will surely be ecstatic, and one can only wonder what he could do with full game load.
CM: OSGUNNERS (Braga) – Making his way into the second TOTW we have Gunners. A very solid CM with a knack for deadly passes is what you get with him. This is shown by his 4 assists and 14 key passes, not to mention he is also very solid defensively tallying 19 interceptions and 30 possessions won.
ST: Bgod43rd (Real Madrid) – Joining his teammate Seraph, we have Bgod. Bgod has seen Seraph’s production as a challenge, and it seems the two are competing with each other to see who can have a better season. In 7 games he has tallied 10 goals, 3 assists, 8 key passes, and 15 passing points. This lethal duo is looking to make defenders lives a struggle.
ST: Leak Boys 02 (Borussia Dortmund) – There is only one thing scarier than the boogeyman and that thing is INFORM LEAK. In 8 games, Leak has 7 goals, 4 assists, and 6 key passes. Leak has the unique ability to single-handedly decide the outcome of a game, and there is no player more revered at the top of their game than Leak. Defenders beware, you’re in for a scare.
