- The top two teams from League One earned automatic promotion to Super League
- The third spot to be promoted from League One was determined based off the results of a promotion playoff
- The teams that finished 3rd-6th (3rd vs 6th, 4th vs 5th) entered into a two-legged, knockout playoff semifinal to determine who will play in the promotion playoff
- The playoff final was a one-legged final with the winner moving up to Super League for season 12
- Teams that finish 14th, 15th, and 16th will be relegated to League Two for season 12
